Camshaft
Camshafts are one of the basic components of an engine. Camshafts have cams for opening and closing intake valves and exhaust valves. There is one intake cam and one exhaust cam for each cylinder. Each cam can activate one or two valves. Cams are precisely machined to control valve timing for maximum engine power output and efficiency. They are also hardened for wear resistance.
