Rocker arm
The rocker arm is one component of the valve mechanism.
The center is supported by the rocker arm shaft and attached to
the cylinder head.
When one end is pushed up by the pushrod, the rocker arm rotates
around the rocker arm shaft, and the other end pushes the valve
open.
An adjusting screw for adjusting valve clearance is provided in
the area where the rocker arm and push rod make contact.
