Oil cooler
The oil cooler minimizes oil temperature increases while the
engine is running to ensure that lubrication is performed
properly.
It also serves to warm engine oil that may be at a low
temperature immediately after the engine is started.
In the case of a water-cooled oil cooler, oil flows inside the
cooler plates while coolant flows on the outside of the cooler
plates to either cool or heat the oil.
