Intake system
The intake system consists of an air cleaner that removes dust
from air that is sucked into the cylinders (combustion chamber)
and an intake manifold that guides the air-fuel mixture
(gasoline engines) or air (diesel engines) to each cylinder.
Also, vertical diesel engines may be equipped with a
turbocharger or intercooler to increase air intake efficiency
and improve engine output.
