AC dynamo
The AC dynamo is one component of the power generation
system.
Similar to magnetos, AC dynamos are a type of magnetic AC
generator and are used to convert single-phase AC output to
direct current, which is then supplied to the battery and
load.
As with magnetos, they can also be used for lighting, charging
and ignition functions. However, they normally have a larger
power generation capacity than magnetos.
