Kubota's Micro Hybrid Technology

Supplementing required power
instantaneously with a motor

The micro hybrid engine is a system in which a 48-V motor generator is installed instead of an alternator, and electric power is used to instantaneously compensate with a high load.

The instantaneous 10-kW electric motor assist function allows customers to choose a smaller engine than previously possible by selecting an engine with an output power tailored to the low and medium load regions of frequent use and able to compensate for instantaneous overloads with electric power.

One of the reasons that Kubota engines are so well received is our collection of constantly evolving innovations.

We believe that this is due to our ahead-of-the-curve perspective with regard to product development, research, surveys, testing, manufacturing processes, compliance with environmental regulations, and other aspects of the market, global circumstances, and social issues.

We will continue to work for a sustainable society and to solve social issues through engine manufacturing.

We want to fuel the world.
