Uncontrolled combustion period
An uncontrolled combustion period is the second phase of the
combustion process of a diesel engine.
Since fuel mixtures accumulated in the ignition delay period are
ignited at Point B and rapidly combust, pressures and
temperatures inside cylinders rise instantly.
