EFI system

In the case of EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) systems, an air-fuel mixture is created using fuel injection instead of using a carburetor.
A constant amount of fuel is continuously fed to the injectors by the fuel pump.
The engine ECU detects the state of the engine via signals from each sensor, based on which it operates the injectors and the ignition coils to provide an injection quantity and ignition timing that are most suitable for the detected state.
This ensures optimal combustion is performed continuously, which provides the following advantages:

  1. Minimizes exhaust gases while providing high output and low fuel consumption;
  2. Improves startability in cold weather or after being stored for long periods of time (chokeless);
  3. Enhances maintainability. At Kubota, some of these systems are called "KFI (Kubota Fuel Injection) systems."
