Appearance

The appearance of the 10K has some changes compared to A and B.

Face

The face is square, the deburring of individual parts is rough, and there are no longer any characters made by casting ("KUBOTA" on the main unit and "KUBOTA IRON WORKS, JAPAN" on the flywheel).

Flywheel

This 10K is considered to be an engine manufactured in the early Showa period (1926–1989), after the mobilization of the entire nation.

At that time, women and the elderly became involved in production to replace the men who had to leave work in factories, which may have led to work processes being simplified. This may have resulted in the loss of features that were found in A and B.
