Increasing Personal Use

After World War II, Kubota quickly resumed production of its oil engines.

Food supplies were depleted due to poor weather conditions and labor shortages after the war, and the majority of the Japanese population was starving. Private use of engines increased as the government's emergency measures on food supplies provided support to outstanding farmers, and agricultural land reform led to the creation of many self-made farmers.

Kubota helped Japan to emerge from this plight through products that supported increased agricultural production.
